Sisters at the Pfister, a Charitable Affair

“Sisters at the Pfister, A Charitable Affair” is an inaugural women’s event for women by women being held in the elegant atmosphere of Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. on Sunday, February 10, 2013. The agenda for the day will inspire the mind, body and spirit as women join together and unify in their exchange of knowledge on beauty, health and purpose.
A memorable affair created by generous support to raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin and to cultivate positive community relations.

The day will begin at 8 AM with Celebration of Faith opportunities followed by a delicious breakfast provided by the Marcus Corporation. Speaker and Author Elizabeth Murphy will be the opening speaker sharing her energetic spirit in preparation for the various workshops that have been created by talented speakers from many walks of life. You will be able to participate in several workshops and select your own topics with categories reflecting a variety of views for you to explore highlighting: Your Look, Your Home, Your Body and Your Business/ Money/ You. At mid-day during the lunch break, attendees will enjoy hearing from our Keynote Speaker Joyce Garbaciak, Broadcaster and Journalist. Joyce will be followed by an amazing fashion show courtesy of Faye’s Fashions of Brookfield & Mequon. Attendees will then have another chance to view outside vendor booths who are participating in the event with some offering shopping opportunities. Workshops will ensue and this Charitable Affair will conclude with a Farewell Reception of wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting accompanied by decadent desserts and appetizers.

This is a charitable event being organized under Eevents, with the same goal of zero administrative costs with 100% of all proceeds benefiting the Charities. Tammy Flynn, the organizer and New Berlin business owner states that “our mission is to bring the community together to cultivate positive relationships and prove that when everyone donates a little of themselves, great things can be accomplished!”

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons, founded in 1984. And since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish granting of life-changing experiences.

Ticket price before January 15, 2013 is $50 per person. ($75 after January 15, 2013). Corporate tables of ten are available for $750 and will reserve the table for the group for the entire day.
