The Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival is downtown’s finest time to shine. From concerts and sporting events to shows and exhibitions, and amazing retail and dining, there’s something for everyone. This season, see downtown’s holiday lights aboard the G4S Jingle Bus. At just $1 per person, this holiday outing is one of the sweetest deals around.
Led by Milwaukee Downtown’s Public Service Ambassadors, the 40-minute tour takes riders past all the festive scenes, including “Community Spirit Park” at Cathedral Square Park, “Let Us Entertain You” at Pere Marquette Park and “Holiday Sweet Treats” at Zeidler Union Square.
G4S Jingle Bus tours depart from the Festival’s Warming House at the Plankinton Arcade in The Shops of Grand Avenue, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., Thursdays through Sundays, now through Dec. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. The last bus departs at 8:20 p.m., so get there early!
Inside the Warming House, riders will enjoy free cocoa and cookies compliments of Culver's and Potbelly Sandwich Shop, while supplies last. Plus, kids receive a holiday coloring book. Awaiting riders will also enjoy impromptu performances by the Milwaukee Public Theatre. Parking is also a cinch. Convenient parking is available in The Shops of Grand Avenue’s attached structure for $3. Just remember to present your G4S Jingle Bus voucher upon exiting. Enter the structure from Plankinton Ave. between Michigan St. and Wisconsin Ave.
