About Safe Kids Southeast Wisconsin

Safe Kids Southeast Wisconsin works to prevent childhood accidental injuries, the leading cause of death among children 14 years of age and younger. The four-county coalition, including Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Waukesha counties, combines the expertise of community agencies and individuals to prevent childhood injuries through collaboration, education, policy and advocacy initiatives.

Initiatives include preventing:

  • Bike-related injuries
  • Injuries to motor vehicle occupants
  • Falls
  • Burns
  • Injuries to pedestrians.
  • Poisonings.
