Be a Super Reader this summer!

This summer, learning happens when kids are reading books, singing songs, playing games, listening to stories, and doing a variety of other fun activities that kids rarely realize are actually learning activities.

Children need to have a variety of rich experiences over the summer to keep learning, including reading and/or being read to, to maintain their reading skills while school is out. You can do this by having your child sign-up for the Milwaukee Public Library’s Super Reader program. It fun, it’s free and it’s easy.

Sign-up your child at any Milwaukee Public Library to take advantage of the Super Reader program. Children earn prizes for reading or listening to someone read to them.

The library hosts hundreds of free classes, programs and events for babies, children, teens and families to provide an enriching experience that will spark a child’s imagination and interest.
