National Autism Awareness Month

According to the Autism Society, "1 percent of the population of children in the U.S. ages 3-17 have an autism spectrum disorder." Its estimated prevalence is 1 in 110 births, and it is the fastest growing developmental disability.

April is National Autism Awareness Month. If you have or know a child with autism, please utilize our resources. If you know of any other resources, please let us know.

UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation Grants Available for Medical Grants


The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) is seeking grant applications from families in need of financial assistance to help pay for their child’s health care treatments, services or equipment not covered, or only partially covered, by their commercial health insurance plans.

Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to help pay for medical services and equipment such as physical, occupational and speech therapy, counseling services, surgeries, prescriptions, wheelchairs, orthotics, eyeglasses and hearing aids.
