Education at Bright Horizons

Bright Horizons high-quality child care and early education programs for children age 6 weeks to 12 years empower children to become confident, successful, lifelong learners and secure, caring people. Through our World at Their Fingertips program for learning, our licensed, professional teaching staff help children approach school and academics with skills, confidence, and a drive to succeed by creating experiences appropriate for each individual child.

Preschool Program

At the core of the Bright Horizons preschool learning environment are well-planned learning centers that allow for child choice and self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching that reflects emerging interests and individual goals. Through our READY for SCHOOL program, the development of language, mathematical reasoning, and scientific thought is emphasized to help each child learn all the necessary skills to successfully transition to elementary school, and continue to thrive academically and socially.

School-Age and Summer Programs

Eager to explore the social world and discover how the adult world works, 6 to 12-year olds thrive on challenges, friendships, clubs, and responsibility. They want to make things, build things, act out new dramatic possibilities, explore computers and books, construct imaginary worlds, and pursue their interests. Before- and after-school programs offer a relaxed, balanced program with time to play and learn with friends, finish homework, and let off steam.

During the summer months, Camp Explorations and Our World/Our Backyard summer programs offer a wealth of enrichment activities such as sports, field trips from river-tubing to horseback-riding, computer explorations, and theater workshops.

Quality Child Care
