Little Learners Preschool is in operation to provide a safe, happy place where children learn to play together, respect each other, and feel good about themselves. The curriculum focuses on the total development of the child – social, emotional, physical, intellectual and language in children ages two years through prekindergarten. Age appropriate experiences including readiness skills, large and small muscle activities, music, art experiences, socialization, movement and field trips are planned within the child’s range of interest and abilities. These activities provide guidance for children as they learn to relate to others in the group.
Classrooms are separated by age. Parents can choose 2, or 3 day programs depending on the age of the child. Awesome Afternoons are available for Prekindergarten one day per week. Little Learners Preschool is a non-profit, state licensed facility and is a program of First United Methodist Church. The preschool has been in operation since 1978. Visitors are always welcome.
