St. Aemilian Preschool is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), serving the Milwaukee and the surrounding area for 35 years.

Our Program

We offer full and half day programs for children ages 2 to 5 years of age during the school year, and a summer adventure program to age 8. Our educational program develops the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative aspects of each child.

Program Highlights

Unique additions to our curriculum include foreign language, music, and sign language. We have an extremely low teacher turnover, low teacher to child ratio, small group sizes, and experienced 4 year degreed teachers. We accept children at age 2, and they do not need to be potty trained! We also have a fantastic 4 year old Kindergarten!

Objective

We believe that every child has a right to high quality early education and care. Through maintaining a warm, sensitive, educational environment for children, they will develop healthy self-concepts and a love of learning. Children experience socialization, exploration, experimentation, independent thought, and creativity.

Our Classrooms

The classrooms are self-contained with a variety of educational materials. An indoor, 2,000 square feet carpeted area is full of equipment to enhance children's gross motor skills. We have an outdoor fenced play area adjacent to a beautiful park.

Schedule

Our half day Preschool is from 8:00-12:30. The full day program incorporates additional activities, includes rest time, and allows flexible scheduling between 6:30am-6:00pm, which is ideal for working families. We offer full and half day programs 2-5 days a week.

Registration

Tours of our program are welcomed. We are open to all families regardless of sex, age, race, color, national origin, religion, handicap, economic status, sexual orientation, or family composition.
