Our Goal

Our goal at Connie’s is to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for young children, something we have been doing for the past 18 years. We recognize that for many children, preschool is their first experience away from home or parents and we work hard to make every child feel secure and happy.

Connie’s Sunshine Learning Center is a place where children can discover, experience and grow in so many ways. They will discover a stimulating new environment and meet new friends and playmates. The sense of security provided will help their social skills and confidence to grow. The children will enrich their development through guided and unguided play, art, story time, discovery units, games, special guests and field trips. Our kitchen play area, train table and puppet theater encourage the use of their imaginations.

How the program is structured

Just as children are more at ease when they know what to expect, Connie provides parents with an annual outline of the weekly units of discovery (ex. community helpers or nutrition.)

Each month, Connie will also send home a newsletter updating the parents on what’s happening and what’s coming up.

The basic structure of our day is:

* Small motor free-play and arts/craft time * Cleanup * Calendar time * Snack * Discovery units - ages 2-3 * Discovery units - ages 3-4 * Story time * Large motor play * Lunch * Story time * Games * Music

What makes us different

Hours (though flexible) are from 8:20 – 12:30 (children bring a lunch and eat together)

You choose the days that work the best – not limited to M,W,F or T,Th

Ages 2-4 can be enrolled
