Metroparent presents Love & Logic: Magic for Early Childhood with Dr. Charles Fay of the Love & Logic Institute. Separate sessions are scheduled for parents (Sept. 10) and teachers (Sept. 11) at the Country Springs Conference Center in Pewaukee.

JoAnne Brandes, the highest ranking woman at Johnson Diversey before her recent retirement, discusses being a corporate leader, and her personal struggle to balance work and family.
Girls Night Out
Metroparent's newest event is the early summer “Girls Night Out” cruise aboard the Edelweiss II. Choose from two voyages – the “Early Evening Cruise” from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, and the “Sunset and Starlight Cruise” from 8:00 to 10:30 pm.
Guests enjoy the city’s sights and sounds as the boat makes its way down the Milwaukee River through Downtown, the Third Ward and Milwaukee’s breathtaking harbor. Hors d’oeuvres, drinks and desserts are unlimited, and Elegance Salon & Spa provides seven pampering stations, featuring back massages, hand and arm massages, even foot massages. The 2008 event featured 70 prizes and great gift bags, gorgeous weather, beautiful views, wonderful conversation and laughter with friends!
