  1. This makes me scratch my head. I live in NYC, I was a model in the '60's. I am from Green Bay, Wis. I still live in NYC. I have a girlfriend who lives in Green Bay. When I saw pics of her 2yr. old daughter I was so amazed at the numerous qualities this child had to model. Like I'm never seen in anyone ever!
I tried taking her pics to Wilhelmina NYC (which is something I'd never do unless something was so exceptional as this child is)but, to no avail. I wasn't allowed beyond the 1st.floor desk.
Then my girlfriend tells me that Wilhelmina NYC is coming to GR.Bay to scout for models. Only to then realize that it was the agency in Mil.
Needless to say I would just assume that she'd be zeroed into in a split second. When your agency came to Gr.Bay on the 10th.of Dec. the child wasn't given a second look!!
I don't know if that's just how it is throughout the midwest, but no one seems to have an "eye" for anything!!
You missed out BIG TIME in not taking notice of this child.
Too bad, your loss. Why even bother scouting if no one has a clue???
I know without any doubt that this little girl could have made A LOT of $$ doing commercials in Chicago!!!
Get another job!! You obviously have no idea what your doing in this one.

  2. Wow, I'm really surprised with the previous post. Perhaps the child was simply not what they were looking for? My son models for Ford and has had several ads for Boston Store, and they always compliment him on his behavior. From what I hear, it’s not all about the child’s looks but also their demeanor. So I hope you take a step back and stop being so defensive because they did not go crazy over your friend’s daughter. You said you use to model, so I’m sure you are familiar with all of the rejection that comes with the modeling world.
