Place for first birthday party

I have been looking for a place for Logan's first birthday party. I looked at Monkey Joes, pump it up, chucky cheese, the childrens play gallery. Those just didn't feel right. I want some place where he can run around and play but some place where the adults can sit around a chit chat as well. A ball pit would be nice to.... if they even make them anymore.

  1. Where are you located?

why not rent/secure a picnic area in a local park? You can find inflatable ball pits/bouncy houses/etc cheaply enough. Plus, the park will likely have a playground that you can use as well.

  2. Is he 1 or is he older and its his 1st real party?

Please don't take offense to this, but we just had a big family party for our ds 1st birthday. 1 is pretty little for a kid to enjoy a destination party, he won't remember it anyways.

If you need space the park rental is great idea.

  3. I am having my 2 yr olds party this weekend at Funland in Germantown! It's like Monkey Joes but in my opinion cleaner and not as expensive. It's not too expensive depending on what package you pick. The cheapest is 7.99 a child which includes a host.... a table for 90 mins .....a balloon bauquet for the bday child.... i think the table will have cups plates etc..... oh and unlimited time in the tunnels and inflatables and unlimited soda. And their food isnt too bad.... i think a 16'' pizza is 13 bucks.... so its a pretty nice deal! :)

  5. There is a place in muskego I think it is called the Lotza fun room, I believe if you check out the birthday party section on the front page they are on there. They have a ball pit, tunnels etc, it is not a very big place which is nice so you can sit and watch the kids without having to worry about them running around a huge place, they have a bunch of other stuff also.

I was going to mention this too. I have never actually been there, but I looked at there website once and thought it seemed nice for a younger child. I could be wrong, but I think when you rent the space you are the only ones there too - so you don't have to worry about too much craziness.

  7. or what about this place? I have never been here either (its not really in my neck of the woods) but I looked at their website when I was looking at places for my kid's parties, and I liked that its really just a room rental, so not as expensive, you can bring in food and have the space all to yourselves.

We had my ds 3rd birthday there. Its not really a party room but bascially just one of the daycare's toddler rooms with some large indoor play equipment. It had a big kitchen to it but hard to use since the daycare's stuff was in it. There were little tables for kids but not for adults. We had 9 kids I think and a few adults. It served our purpose okay but if you are having a large party it might not work out so well.
