Which McDonald's Playland?

Which McDonald's do you think has the best playland? We live in West Allis, and I'd like to take my son on Sunday. We've been to the one in Hales Corners and I wasn't really impressed.

  1. Is that the one on Hwy 100 and Layton?

Don't they have a new one on Hyw 100 and National? I would think the newer it is the cleaner it would be and the newer equipment it would have.

We haven't been to on in ages, but the last one we were at was the hwy100/Layton one and it smelled like dirty feet :P I suppose they all do to an extent but that one was bad...

the one on HWY 100 & National isnt very good. The playground thing with the slides is smaller and they have air hockey that tends to get busy with older kids. Its not worth it in my opinion.

  3. It is a ways from West Allis but the one in Menomnee Falls is good - off of 45 on Cty Line Q.

  4. 27th and Coldspring is nice, but always crowded and noisy.

Hwy 100 and National has a small play area for little kids and then a huge area w/ an air hockey table, a basketball toss game and 2 skateboard video games (with skateboards). This, IMO, encourages older kids and teens to be in there and the little ones don't have much play area.

Hwy 100 and Forest Home is nice. They even have a small slide for real little ones who still have trouble climbing up higher.

  5. I think the one in Hales Corners is the best for little ones. It is also one of the cleaner ones probably because you can't eat inside the play area.
The one in Mukwonago is nice too.

  6. Don't go to the one in Bay View on Potter and KK. Very dirty since you can eat inside at tables. You would think that they would clean it as part of the daily cleaning of the restaurant. Could barely get in or out of the bathroom in there as the handle was about to fall off. I do like the one on Hwy 100 and Forest Home and agree with some of the posters here that the one on Hwy 100 and National is more for older children. I have twins that will be 3 in May and still need something other than air hockey to burn off energy. I wish they all would get rid of the video games. The one in Bay View has 3 video games.
