Has anyone been to an all-inclusive with their young kids? I see Beaches advertise all the time but, we've been to a Sandal's and their food/service is terrible. We love Mexico but, we'd be willing to travel anywhere for peace of mind that our kids are well cared for. Thanks in advance.

We went to an all-inclusive in jamaica with ODD when she was 18 months old. The food was fine, the beach was nice, etc. We did check out the daycare option, but were not comfortable leaving her. I don't know if we'd be comfortable leaving our kids - well, ever - while on vacation. Maybe a Disney cruise would be different, but not an all-inclusive. That's not what they are 'known' for. And, DH's point was that it is a family vacation. While it's nice to get a break, he didn't feel it was right to leave her.

Although I have never tried them out, I believe Club Med has family resorts (with dropoff childcare available) and heard they are supposed to be very nice. I would google it. Good luck!

We've been to the Melia in Ixtapa Mexico numerous times. They have lots of families and kids activities. Check it out though because they just got bought out and I don't know if they are making changes.
