Our general discussion rules can be found here in addition to the following:

ADVERTISEMENTS, SPAM (OR USELESS INFORMATION POSTED OFTEN), SOLICITATION, AND CHAIN LETTERS ARE PROHIBITED IN OUR DISCUSSION GROUPS. POSTS BY AN AGENCY, A BUSINESS OWNER, EMPLOYEE, VOLUNTEER OR PAID REPRESENTATIVE TO PROMOTE HOME BASED BUSINESSES, TO PRIVATELY SELL PRODUCTS OR TO "SEED" FRADULENT COMMERCIAL PRODUCT ENDORSEMENTS INTO DISCUSSIONS WILL BE DELETED AND THE USER'S ACCOUNT MAY BE SUSPENDED.
Upon registering, you agree to never use this forum for any vulgar, false, sexually oriented, threatening, obscene, abusive, hateful, slanderous communications, or any other communication that violates ANY acceptable laws.
You also agree to never hack, or attempt to hack into any area of our forums.
You also agree never to post any copyrighted material, which you do not expressly own the copyright to, or that you do not have the authorization to use.
Be courteous. You agree that you will not threaten or verbally abuse other members, use defamatory language, or deliberately disrupt discussions with repetitive messages, meaningless messages, or "spam."
Use respectful language. Like any community, the message boards flourish only when our members feel welcome and safe. You agree not to use language that abuses or discriminates on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual preference, age, region, disability, etc. Hate speech of any kind is grounds for immediate and permanent suspension of access to all or part of the service.
Debate, but don't attack. In a community full of opinions and preferences, people always disagree. MilwaukeeMoms.com encourages active discussions and welcomes debate in our message boards. Personal attacks are a direct violation of this agreement and are grounds for immediate and permanent suspension of access to all or part of the service.
Please report violations of our rules to site administrators.
NO THREAD HIJACKING
Thread hijacking is treated as a breach of respect and courtesy in our discussion forums and effectively discourages users from participating.
We define thread hijacking as:
1) the act of taking a forum discussion thread unreasonably off topic by discussing a subject entirely unrelated to the discussion at hand; or
2) an unreasonable number of off-topic posts to a thread that do not contribute to the value of a discussion.
Such behavior interrupts the desired exchange of useful information by forcing legitimate participants to alert board administrators and/or try to individually take action against the thread hijacker. We will warn users suspected of thread hijacking to start a new thread for their discussion or, when warranted, suspend or permanently block their access to our forums in the event that they do not comply.

MilwaukeeMoms.com does not and cannot review every message posted by you on the message boards and is not responsible for the content of these messages, but it does reserve the right to delete, move, or edit messages that it, in its sole discretion, deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. MilwaukeeMoms.com reserves the right to cancel a user's account at our sole discretion.
In addition, MilwaukeeMoms.com editors may, at their sole discretion, delete threads:
1) As the course of routine site maintenance;
2) That do not contribute or hinder discussions;
3) That violates the policies/rules stated herein;
4) That are damaging to the reputation and mission of MilwaukeeMoms.com.
YOUR PROFILE INFORMATION
Upon registering for an account, you will have the opportunity to build a public profile for yourself. Your profile allows other members to see various information that you submit to us. However, you are not required to disclose any of the information suggested. You may choose to privatize certain information (such as your e-mail address), and are not obligated to provide us with any personal information such as your gender, birth date and real name.
WE AGREE NEVER TO SELL OR DISCLOSE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION THAT YOU SUBMIT TO US.
LOGIN TECHNOLOGY
Our forum system offers two login methods: cookies and session identification (SID).
If you use cookies to login, the forum will save your username, encrypted password, and board passwords to your computer in the form of a "Cookie," which is a small text file that is saved to your browser.
Session identification stores your current session (visit) on our server using your IP address, username, encrypted password, and any board passwords you may use during your session. If you use session identification, you will be logged out after three (3) hours of inactivity.
ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
Failure to abide by the terms of this document will subject you to an immediate and/or permanent suspension from our forums, and, depending on the severity of the incident, may require us to contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to report abusive conduct. For this reason, your IP address is logged each time you post a message, as is your login or data and each click you made during your visit.
This above information will ONLY be used to assist us in communicating with your ISP and, in the case of violations to the law, appropriate local, state or federal authorities.
In addition, MilwaukeeMoms.com editors may, at their sole discretion, delete threads:

It is highly recommended that you select a password that is longer than 6 characters and is a combination of letters and numbers. If your account has been hacked, please notify the system administrator immediately and we will look into the matter and appropriate action will be taken.
PERSONAL REPUTATION: MilwaukeeMoms.com and/or our parent companies, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Journal Communications Inc. or its agents, will not be held liable for any loss to reputation, lost wages or any other negative consequence resulting from individual posts or replies to our discussion groups.
