Favorite Area Sledding Hills
Mitchell Park- Milwaukee
Head out for some family fun at Mitchell Park, 524 S. Layton Blvd.
"Mitchell Park (27th and National) has the best hills, in several ranges of height and speed.
Menomonee Park- Menomonee Falls
The address of this thriller is W220 N7884 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls.
"Sledding hill is located inside the park, just south of the park offices. As you enter the park, take your first left (at a stop sign) and proceed approximately 0.5 miles to offices and hill. Park in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill.
Hill has minimal lighting into the night, and typically groomed to allow a more aggressive ride down the east edge of the hill. Snow fences mark a pathway up the center of the hill to allow a safe lane for those walking uphill. Park entry requires sticker, or daily park entrance fee." Scott N., December 2008
Lowell Park- Waukesha
The address of this great sledding spot is 2201 Michigan Ave., Waukesha.
"We have a great sledding and toboggan hill here in Waukesha at Lowell Park." Sue H., December 2008
Dewey Hill- Wauwatosa
The address of this hill is approximately 1153 N. Honey Creek Parkway, Wauwatosa.
"This steep hill is tucked in between Portland and 70th Street on Honey Creek Parkway. It's packed on the weekends with kids and families, and lots of fun for all ages. Stick to the sides of the hill with smaller kids. A few trees are on the sledding path, so practice your steering!" Jim, December 2008
Valley View Park- New Berlin
"It is located on Small Road. just south of Beloit Road. Small Road. is located in between Sunnyslope and Moorland. Great hill for all ages. No hazards like trees or brush."

"There are two sledding hills. Both are kid friendly. Ages 3 and up. My husband and daughter just came back and had a great time on the hills. Easy to maneuver. Do not have pics though."
