Here are some of our favorite sledding hills in metro-Milwaukee. In reviewing them, we tried to keep in mind kids of all ages and we've included what we feel would be appropriate ages for each sledding area.
If you'd like to add your favorite sledding hill, just drop us an e-mail with its location, age appropriateness and a photo if you've got one. Otherwise, we'll stop by to snap a picture. We'll be adding more as the winter months continue, so be sure to come back or watch the front page of MilwaukeeMoms.com for updates!

Kinderburg Park Review: Now, this is a REAL sledding hill! In fact, it borders on being a challenging bunny hill at a ski resort. Older kids will revel in its speed, but we seriously don't recommend kids under 4 taking the hill on their own. |

Currie Park Review: Currie Park might be a golf course, but come winter it becomes a true sledder's paradise! Kids 4 and up should have no problem with the speed or the slope, but those under 3 will need mom or dad to navigate. Mind you, this hill is BUSY with dozens of kids sledding at once. |

Hawthorn Glen For parents with little folks, Hawthorn Glen is a great hill. It's tucked back next to a picnic area and it's the perfect size for first-time sledders and/or nervous moms and dads. |

LaFollette Park LaFollette's hill is the perfect place to relax, sit back and enjoy a gentle glide to the bottom with your preschooler. But, it's a long walk back up to the top, so just be sure to put your hands down if you want to cut your run (walk back up) short! |

McCarty Park There's just something about this hill that just says fun! It's located just off a small neighborhood and the local kids celebrate it. It can get a bit crowded, but, for its size, it offers a fast run and a long glide to your stop. |
