Rating "3": "The park here is great.  A lot of space and a good playground.  Great view of the lake from above and well landscaped.  I give the park 5 stars, but the beach is a 1-star design disaster. It's upsetting to have such a poorly conceived beach in my town. I don't think there's one natural inch at this beach. It looks like a bulldozer just pushed a bunch of gravel down the hill and then some other large piece of equipment graded it steeply. There are drainage pipes at each end, capped by piles of large anti-erosion boulders. Is there a worse beach on Lake Michigan within 50 miles?  I doubt it. " James,  Whitefish Bay,  July 2009

Rating "5": "The playground is good. Lake Michigan is spectacular, especially on a sunny day! There's lots of benches near the beach. Love the view!" A. Butler, Milwaukee, April 2008

Rating"5": "Love this park! It's beautiful and a great place for picnics. The kids love the swings, slides and other equipment as well as taking a walk down the bluff to the beach." Heather, Whitefish Bay

Rating "4": "This park is beautiful. There is plenty of grass, toddler swings and different activities to keep any young child busy. The gentle rhythm of Lake Michigan nearby is soothing for mom while playing with the kids." H. Burns, Milwaukee
