Notes:
Truly a gargantuan play gym that's worth a visit! Just minutes from downtown and complete with picnic shelters, tables and a colorful splash pad. Reviews:
Rating "5": "This park is enormous and is well kept by the city. The playground equipment is modern and so is the kiddie pool. There is a baseball diamond and soccer field. It's a diverse area as it is close to downtown and right off the freeway North Avenue exit. Restrooms are on the same side of the street as the playground. There are lots of kids. I think it's a safe environment as long as there is adult supervision. I often have to tell unsupervised kids to quit horsing around, but they listen to me. Best time to visit is during the summer because the water park is free! The water park is 10 times better than the one at Gordon Park!" Alexxandra, Milwaukee
