Description:
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to visit the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) for a fun-filled evening to learn all about pets and the work that WHS does to find animals loving homes. Make a cool cat toy, learn the basics of dog training, discover the journey animals take on our behind-the-scenes tour, and meet some furry and fuzzy guests! Included in your reservation is a resource with activities and information to help you prepare for your evening at WHS and help you learn additional information about animal-related topics. Find out how you can help animals in your community, too! Your visit to the Wisconsin Humane Society on Girl Scout & Boy Scout Night has a direct connection to the Daisy Journey 5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals and the Brownie Pets badge. If you have specific, animal-related goals that your troop is working toward, please let us know, as there may be additional resources we can provide. All Girl Scout and Boy Scout Nights are from 6:00-7:45 p.m. from October through May. Register online at www.wihumane.org/education/scoutnights.aspx, or contact education@wihumane.org or 414-431-6159 for more information.
