Description:

Get your brain working and playing on the first day of the new year at the Logic Puzzle Museum in Burlington, in a 90-minute hands-on session at 2 p.m. There is puzzling fun for the entire family, ages 5- adult. Teens and grown-ups really like this museum as much as anyone! Thinking challenges with more than 60 different brain, logic and mechanical puzzles make this a unique visit; good for the brain and fun at the same time. Types of puzzles to try include packing puzzles, sliding block puzzles, classics, parlor puzzles, Latin squares, cube puzzles, pyramid puzzles, shifting puzzles and edge-matching puzzles. During the session, there is time to see the exhibit of vintage puzzles, try the hands-on puzzles, ring bells when a puzzle is solved, plus make a puzzle to keep. The gift shop is open after the session, offering about 100 different types of puzzles to continue the fun at home or to give as gifts. Other times may be scheduled for large groups throughout the year, weekdays or weekends. School groups, home schooling families, senior groups, clubs, classes and the public are welcome. “Adults regularly visit the Logic Puzzle Museum without children, and have a great time, as this is ageless fun, and families comment on how much fun it is for them enjoy the outing together!” said museum director Judith Schulz.
