Description:
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is due to arrive in downtown Hartland - the only stop in Waukesha County - at the intersection of Cottonwood and Pawling avenues. The train is bejeweled with thousands of twinkling lights and travels across the US and Canada to raise awareness and donations for local food pantries. Santa Claus will welcome the crowds and during the one hour stop, a traveling boxcar stage show will feature live music. A mini-train will be available for the kids to ride and the Chamber will be selling magical "elf glow wands" with all proceeds to benefit the food pantry. When lit, the wands will be used by spectators to wave in and welcome the train! Some pre-visit activities for the kids are also planned beginning at 7:00 pm. All visitors are encouraged to bring donations to support the food pantry. Visit www.hartland-wi.org and click on events for details. Occurs once: Dec 8, 2012 (9:10 PM to 10:10 PM)
