Description:
Bring your food donations when you come to see the Holiday Train, hailing from Canada. The Holiday Train gives employees, customers and communities a special chance to come together to help people in need. Each year, thousands of people gather along Canadian Pacific Railway’s route to enjoy the arrival of a brightly decorated train and watch entertainers perform a live holiday concert. This year it will be making a stop in Milwaukee and will feature a visit from Santa Claus and a performance by Willy Porter! Join us downtown when the Amtrak Station will be transformed into Santa's Workshop and the little ones are invited to make holiday ornaments and decorate their own Christmas cookies! A real letter carrier will be on hand to help kids get their letters to Santa in the mail and there will be even more fun outside! Saz's catering will have a delicious menu for sale and local bands will perform as everyone waits for the main event - the arrival of the Holiday Train! The train will be decked out in lights from engine to caboose and will make its stop at the station where it will take a break and Santa and local favorite Willy Porter will greet the crowd for a brief holiday celebration. Bring your kids, your friends and your food donations! Occurs once: Dec 3, 2011 (6:00 PM to 8:30 PM)
