Camp Anokijig has been recognized for camping excellence for 83 years, with a rich tradition and history of offering youth an experience that will last a lifetime. “Anokijig” is a word meaning “we serve,” but it’s also synonymous with new friends, positive values, personal growth, great adventures, and outrageous fun! Combine all this with our dedication to values like caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and you have a combination that can’t be beat!

Camp Anokijig offers four types of camping experiences. Resident Camp offers a wide variety of activities from which to choose and emphasizes a well-rounded and fun camp experience. Choose from archery, arts & crafts, woodworking, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, dance, drama, nature, digital photography, trailcrafts, riflery, NEW FOR 2009, Ukulele Band, and many more! Resident Camp Specialty Programs combine all the activities of resident camp with a focus on a particular special activity. Choose from Fishing Expeditions, Competitive Swim, Scrapbooking, Ranch and Circle A Riders, and Teen Adventure Challenge. Day Trips are partial or full day out-of-camp trips available to campers entering 7th grade or above. Adventure Trips are out-of-camp, week-long, small group excursions within the Midwest and Canada that explore unique outdoor adventures. Come join us, you’ll love it!
