Skills from basic to advanced, Western, Hunt seat and jumping are taught by owner and veteran instructor Bernadette Ruckdashel. Girls attending weekly sessions of residential camp live in RVs, sharing home-cooked communal meals. Special diets can be accommodated. Co-ed day camp, 9am-3:30pm, is available during one session. Weather is no problem as the lessons move from the expansive outdoor riding ring to the roomy indoor arena at a moment’s notice. Miles of trails provide a change of scenery. Fun, friendships and can-do spirit fill each 5-day session, culminating in a horse show for families on the final day to demonstrate the campers’ new skills.
