If you bring your child to the Washington Park Library on Saturday, December 15, she’s going to want to take part in the ‘Give a Mouse a Cookie’ Play and Learn program. When she takes part in the program she’s going to want to read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. She’ll be so excited about the book that she’s going to want to sing some songs. After singing songs she’s going to pretend to be a baker rolling out dough and making cookies. After pretending to be a baker she’ll want to meet Mouse in person. After she says hello to Mouse she’s going to want a snack so she’ll decorate a cookie of her own. Once she decorates a cookie she’s going to want to play some more. If she plays some more she’s going to want to come back to Play and Learn every Saturday!
